Kimberly King, Emcee

San Diego EmceeKimberly King was one of San Diego’s first female television traffic reporters, for NBC San Diego.  She spent time on the air and in the air and learned to navigate the freeways, skyways, and airwaves in the studio and inside “Newschopper 7/39.”  She became a permanent member of San Diego’s #1 rated newscast, “News in the Morning” team, and later hosted several shows of her own, including “Life Moments with Kimberly King” and “Streetside San Diego with Kimberly King.”

Twelve years later, King joined the CBS News 8 Morning show family as a Morning Weather and Live Features/Lifestyle Reporter.  Kimberly has been honored with several Emmy Awards.

Kimberly serves as an Executive Board Member for United Cerebral Palsy, San Diego, as well as the Media Relations Chair for The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PANCAN), San Diego, to help raise funds and awareness for research to find a cure for pancreatic cancer, a promise she made to her father before he passed in 2013.

Kimberly hosts a radio show called “Mother’s Market Radio” on the Angels network, AM 830, in Orange County, CA.   You can also watch her host “A Salute to Education” on Cox Communications, paying tribute to local educators.
